Why this, why now
Hospitality runs on coordination. Software never did that part.
Booking, pricing and payments were automated years ago. The work between them, the message at 23:10, the cleaner who has not confirmed, the owner asking why the week is empty, is still done by people on phones. That is the part we are taking on.

Ship to a real operation
Proptonomy grew inside Heimby, a short-term rental company in Bergen. What we build is used by guests, cleaners and owners the same week, and we hear about it the same day.
Write it down
Decisions, trade-offs and the reason a line of code exists live in the repo next to it. A newcomer can read why, not only what.
Honest numbers
We publish our figures with their method and our limits next to our strengths. Internally, the bar is the same: a result without a denominator does not count.
Small team, long lever
Everyone works with AI agents every day. One person can own something that would need a department elsewhere, and is expected to.
Customers in the group chat
We sit in the same WhatsApp and Slack groups as our operators. The distance between a problem and the person who can fix it is one message.
Truth over ego
The best argument wins, whoever makes it. Saying “I was wrong” early is a skill we hire for.
